What is D.A.C.?
The Dutch Altered Community is a group of Altered enthusiasts that work together to bring together and expand the Altered Community in Belgium/the Netherlands. We do this by organizing events, teaching new players the game, and promoting fun and engaging ways to experience Altered.
Most notably we organize the Dutch Altered Championship. Which is a thrice yearly event, where we try and get together the players of altered and have a great day playing a game we all enjoy.
Our goal for the events we organize is to have everyone leave with a sense of satisfaction. And though we want the top end of our prize pool to be attractive, when we get the opportunity, we hope to raise the last place before the first place.
Who are the people behind D.A.C.?
Though we would like to say the Dutch Altered Community is all of us Altered players and organisation alike, the dedicated team behind the events are a group of four individuals that wanted to see altered grow and feature big tournaments.
Currently the group of organizers consist of Mirjam (Saphire) and Pepijn (Vorst). We both have our own tasks and specialties.
Currently we are a KVK (chamber of commerce) registered Informal Association. Which means we are tax obliged, but we do not have formal status.
