Travel information:

Whether you plan to travel by sled or by strapping on your technical boots, we fully understand that if you are planning to come to the Dutch Altered Championship, you would like to know the best way to travel. So we compounded some information for you. Should you have any questions regarding travel besides what we have listed here, please let us know and we will look into it.

Where could you park you sled?

The closest parking lot is Luxemburglaan P4, you can walk straight from the parking lot to Spel en Meer.
However, Zoetermeer has great public transport. If you are willing to travel a short distance by tram, there is a lot of free parking.
The easiest location would be Parkeerplaats station Lansingerland-Zoetermeer, lansingpad, 2718 RH Zoetermeer, there is a direct tramline from there.

If you are already traveling with Public Transit from the direction of Utrecht, then Lansingerland station is the best to transfer to the tram. From Den Haag Centraal there is a direct Tram line.

Technical Boots, or Public Transport?

While we do not have foresight into the weather for the 7th of March, we predict that there might not be enough snow and ice to recommend using the Technical Boots. However Spel en Meer is easily reachable by several different modes of public transport.

From both directions trams end up within a 5 minute walk of Spel en Meer.

Snoozing around in Zoetermeer?

While we recommend staying awake during your matches, you might want to stay around for a night in zoetermeer. While we would love to offer you our guest room, we currently do not have one. So instead we would like to point to the several available local options.

Through websites like Booking.com, you would likely find reasonable options for a stay. Should you need help finding something and would like some advise, please send us an email and we’ll do our best to help.
